Changes to Meeting Place and Times

   For the remainder of 2008, we will be meeting at the Piccadilly Cafeteria at 2226 North Druid Hills Road NE, Atlanta, GA MAP
   The Piccadilly is on the EAST side of I-85. After exiting I-85, move to the left lane immediately and prepare for left turn. The restaurant is beside McDonald's.

Our meeting nights have moved to the SECOND TUESDAY of the month.

Recent Events

2008 Magician of the Year Nominees Selected November 11,2008 Tim Wolfe and Keith Rainey were selected as the Atlanta Society of Magicians' nominees for Greater Atlanta Magician of the Year (MOTY) 2008. Joe M. Turner and Ken Scott were selected as Georgia Magic Club's nominees. Ballots will be mailed to members of both clubs and the winner will be revealed at the clubs' annual combined holiday banquet.

2008 Magic Week Proclamation
October 17, 2008: Governor Sonny Perdue issued a procalamation declaring the final week of October, 2008 to be "Magic Week" in Georgia. Atlanta Society of Magicians members gathered in the governor's office for the signing of the proclamation and photo op.


Annual Holiday Banquet set for January 10, 2009   The annual Assembly #30/ Ring 9 combined holiday banquet has been set for Saturday January 10, 2009.
   The banquet will be held at the Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church fellowship hall. Ring 9 will be providing the evening's entertainment. Schedule will be provided soon.
